2012 LAMOT Protest & Appeal Procedures
1. All protests must be filed with the Race Director within 30 minutes after the completion of the main event.
2. All appeals must be filed within 30 minutes after Technical Inspection is complete.
3. A protest or appeal must be made in writing with the following criteria met:
1) An exact description of the protest or appeal
2) Signature of the protestor
3) A $200.00 deposit in cash or certified funds
The deposit shall be considered refundable in the event the Race Committee determines the protest is valid. In the event the protest is not found valid, LAMOT will keep the $200 deposit toward the year end point fund.
4. The Board of Directors will hear the Protest no sooner than 3 business days after the main event. NO Board Member may sit in judgment of any protest that involves their car and or driver. Any protest or appeal can be withdrawn within 48 hours of being filed.
