LAMOT welcomes Emerling Chevrolet to the team as a new sponsor in 2010

Emerling Chevrolet of Boston, NY recently agreed to supply the GM 602 crate engines effective immediately for all LAMOT competitors at Holland Motorsports Complex in 2010. The recent partnership includes providing the engines at a discounted cost to late model teams, handling any other engine needs, in addition to contributing to LAMOT's year end point fund. Roy Emerling, local racing enthusiast and father of SST modified driver Patrick Emerling, expressed interest in supporting the late model division to LAMOT driver T.J. Johnson during the race season.

Shortly before the 2009 season ended  LAMOT board member Jerry Szalanski met with Parts Department managers at Emerling and found them to be very accommodating. He said, "they understood our needs right away with regards to putting our own seals on the engines before they leave Emerling and our desire to keep costs in racing down in this economic environment." Jerry will continue to assist all teams with their engine needs and can also be contacted to place orders.

LAMOT secured a solid point fund for their drivers in the 2009 season and is off to a good start for 2010 with the addition of Emerling Chevrolet. The 60 plus year old Chevrolet business is located at 9000 Boston State Rd Boston, NY 14025, is GM certified in used vehicles, commercial specialty vehicles, and a Goodwrench service plus provider. Their dedicated and experienced staff serves the Buffalo, Collins, Springville, and Olean NY areas.
